Darko is Magento Certified Developer, member of our Manaus team. He is well known as Magento API expert, what his previous team Leader confirms by saying: “Darko is really special case. Just assign him a task and you can simply forget about it. You can be sure he will deliver the best solution there is.” On his first year in Inchoo, he worked as Inchoo’s mobile team member specialized for web services API’s using Symfony2 framework and later switched on Magento.

Before Inchoo, he worked as a sales representative in one company and a freelancer whose free time was devoted to learning and developing desktop and web applications in different programming environments: VB6, C++, VB.NET, C #, and later, PHP, Joomla CMS, Flash games, WordPress etc. Now, Darko has 11 years of experience in software development.

As one of favorite and most productive authors on our blog, Darko decided to travel beyond Inchoo’s sphere and publish Magento Mobile How-To book, and as a hobbyist Android developer he turned a week time of work into Magentic application. For all you thankful developers out there, Darko says: “You are welcome!”

When not working, Darko is combining his high school chemical background with his years of experience as a firefighter. He uses knowledge of chemistry for recipes in the kitchen while making burek or preparing a fine juicy steak and firefighting comes in handy when he needs to extinguish fire from the oven (based on a true story). Behind him there are years of night shift gatherings, lamb eating and playing tamburica (long-necked lute) on weddings, celebrations and other joyful manifestations. Now, as a devoted father, he’s transferring that hard learned music knowledge on his kids.
