I’ve been involved with Blog Action Day since it first started in the summer 2007. It’s a one day in a year when bloggers all around the world unite to spread the word about a certain humanity-wide problem.

I use WordPress for a couple of years, but there was one built-in feature I missed for a long time. We all know WordPress has a built in feed whom it places automatically in META tag. I would like to thank all of you who are subscribed to our one. You can see that we have many blog categories. Those of you who are interested in iPhone development are probably not so interested in Magento.

While back when I wasn’t using a password manager like I am today I had a nasty habit of not remembering the password or the username or both for a particular wordpress site.

In this part of we’ll go through the use of dynamic page navigation, displaying page content, using page templates and getting your way around in wordpress in general.

We like it, so we decided to share some experiences with you.

A new project we worked on hit the web recently. The project is called 8 Pillars University. It is a complete learning system that provides real-world financial education. Participants gain a mastery of The 8 Pillars of Financial Greatness by completing the program at their own pace. When this project started, the initial idea was to go with WordPress and Magento duo. However, during the project we decided that in this case WordPress would be enough. By using Shopp plugin, we added the eCommerce feature and put everything under the same roof: WordPress.

If you already have a wordpress powered website, you should consider the Facebook Connect WordPress Plugin by Sociable. It’s a very well documented community builder, that will enable people that have Facebook account to register and sign in to your blog using their Facebook identity.

The plug-in will also import the basic profile for the user to your blog, and provide public profile pages for each of your members. A sidebar widget will keep track of recent additions to your community, Facebook-style, and a members page will also give you an overview of all your blog users.
