Inchoo is a Magento 2 Trained Solution Partner!

Inchoo is a Magento 2 Trained Solution Partner!

We’re all eagerly expecting Magento 2.

It’s a long awaited version of Magento, eCommerce platform, announced for the first time way back in 2010. And as the General Availability announcement is getting closer day by day, Magento is doing everything it can to make sure its Solution Partners are ready for the big date.

And we got our official confirmation of readiness – we are happy to announce that we are Magento 2 Trained Solution Partner!

Currently, we have 11 Magento Certified Solution Specialists and 20 Magento Certified Developers on board. We’ve been Magento partners ever since the program was introduced back in 2010. As our “mileage” grew, so did the number of people who got certified. We take pride in the fact that we’re continuously exploring ways to improve and excel and different ways to learn and discover.

And we’re making sure we’re staying on top of our game as we prepare for Magento 2 rollout – we have already extensively blogged about it, contributed to the code, and had our people speak on the subject at various conferences.

When Magento introduced its Magento 2 Trained Solution Partner program, we took it as the next logical step in our Magento adventure.

And quite an adventure this one was!

What’s the Trained Partner program all about?

According to official documents, there are several goals of the Trained Partner program. You can probably imagine the most important ones.

Magento wants:

  1. to ensure Solution Partners are trained and ready to support demand for new Magento 2 builds and upgrades around and after General Availability
  2. to enable merchants to easily identify Magento 2 – ready partners via a “trained partner” badge.

And why is this important?

Because it’s not really about the badge. Of course the badge itself is a nice addition to the group of reasons why you should choose your solution partner, but it’s more about what the badge stands for.

It demonstrates a certain skill set, expertise and hard work our guys have put into earning it.

The badge is not about showing off. Rather, it’s about being ready to use and handle a brand new platform which represents a new challenge.

What does this mean for our clients?

We’ve completed the program which means we’ve been tested by Magento, both in backend and frontend development, and we are ready to take our clients’ eCommerce solutions to (literally) another level.

And while there is still much to learn about Magento 2 in the upcoming period, we are proud to be in the group of those who are willing and ready to take on the new opportunities lying ahead with GA of Magento 2 just around the corner.

Congratulations to all our fellow Solution Partners in the ecosystem around Magento who have also earned this badge – we’re looking forward to new exciting projects on Magento 2!

And if you’re a merchant looking to make plans for a Magento 2 move – you know what to do – contact us!
