What do you first think of when somebody mentions Venice? Is it Basilica di San Marco, or gondolas, or Murano glass, or perhaps Carnevale? No matter what your answer will be you surely heard of all those amenities… But I bet there is one thing you also heard of, but not so much in the Venice context! It is Meet Magento Italy conference!
So far, it has become almost as famous as those Venetian amenities. However, Meet Magento never took place in Venice so far, but this year it is about to change. Meet Magento Italy is coming to Venice on 24th and 25th of May. Why am I telling you all this, well because we are having one of our speakers featured there this year.
Inchooer Nenad at the stage of #MM18IT with PWA related topic
Our frontend developer Nenad Andrakovic will be speaking about one of the hottest topics these days – PWA. His theme has a very interesting name: “Story about PWA and Magento”, so there is no doubt it is going to attract many guests. As we all know by now, PWA stands for a Progressive Web App, and essentially it is a technology that enables the delivery of an app-like experience to users.
See you at #mm18it! ??
Our @NenadAndrakovic will be there to share the Story about #PWA and #Magento!
Feel free to say Hi to our delegation of Inchooers – @NenadAndrakovic, @zekaker, @ivanmatozan and Hrvoje Ivancic! pic.twitter.com/4wBmcEaRYf

Since our Nenad is going to be a speaker, he needs to have a solid backup in form of 3 wingmen. That’s why he will be accompanied by two fellow developers (Ivan and Hrvoje) and a sales mignon (Zelimir). We have a long history of visiting Magento conferences throughout Europe so this one will be no different. We always like to meet people from our ecosystem, exchange experiences and learn a thing or two.
This year, Meet Magento Italy will feature a lot of amazing guests, such as Ignacio Riesco, Max Yekaterynenko, Kuba Zwolinski, Talesh Seeparsan, Diego Semenzato and many more. It will be very interesting to listen to their lectures, as some very interesting topics have been announced.
Along with all that, we are really looking forward to visiting Venice, as it is an amazing city with an incredible history. It will be great to roam the streets, do some sightseeing and try to soak a bit of Venetian style. There is no doubt we will have a great time, take some pictures and provide a full fledged report once we get back.
Till then, wish us luck and see you in Venice!
