Google introduces new “news_keywords” meta tag!

Google just introduced a new meta tag that will allow you to “tag” your news entries with keywords. This will solve the dilemma of catchy headlines vs. SEO value of the page’s title.

In the official blog post, Google described how it will also help Google understand that this is news item.

Implementation is just like in meta keywords, but instead of “keywords” use value “news_keywords”. For more info on implementation, read here.
