10 useful Magento extensions
Whether your web-shop is already generating revenue or it’s at it’s very beginning, it’s always good to enhance it where it’s needed especially if it’s for free.
These 10 extensions for magento are here for their value and usefulness. Also, almost all of them exist for quite some time so they have been tested and more importantly supported by their authors with the exception of the Easy Lightbox but it works with Magento 1.4.

This is really very good magento extension which are still on practice or not or will it be more useful with magento2 .. Thanks for sharing this lovely information.
Looks like it is already old article but still interesting topic. From your list I still use ‘Delete Orders’ extension. I have also experience by working with Enhanced Product Grid extension which actually is limited in functionality, then I tried several other solutions and finally I prefer now to use Advanced Products Manager which work great as it include grid customization, Editor (editing products on one page), lot of useful mass actions.
I find this canonical url extension is very easy and solves the canonical issue completely.

5. Canonical URL is not necessary in Magento 1.4.x since it’s part of the core.

About Delete Orders, I should removed this extension last week, I missed time to fix a bug for the 1.4… It should be back in September 😉

Great list! Canonical URLs are really important when you have the category as part of the product URL.
For some reason the Delete Orders extension is reported by Magento as Not Found. I’d like to find out more information about that extension though. It looks very useful!
I’ve been wondering about “5. Canonical URL” since Magento 1.4’s admin has settings for Canonical URLs. Is the plugin now redundant?
